    Vomiting

Other symptoms of pancreatic inflammation include fever, chills, loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, and back pain. If left untreated, pancreatic inflammation can lead to complications such as necrosis (death) of the pancreas, perforation (rupture) of the stomach or intestines, and abscess formation.

    Diarrhea

Pancreatitis occurs when the pancreas becomes inflamed. This condition can occur after an injury to the pancreas, infection, gallstones, or other medical conditions. It is also possible for the pancreas to become inflamed without any known cause.

    Jaundice

Jaundice is a yellowish discoloration of the skin and mucous membranes caused by excessive bilirubin accumulation in the blood. In addition to jaundice, people with pancreatitis often develop nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever, and fatigue.
