    There are several possible causes of dyspnea. These include lung diseases such as asthma, COPD, bronchitis, pneumonia, and emphysema; heart diseases such as congestive heart failure (CHF), coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias; neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and Alzheimer’s disease; respiratory disorders such as sleep apnea, pulmonary embolism, and pleural effusion; and other conditions such as anemia, obesity, and kidney disease.

     

    Symptoms Of Dyspnea

    Dyspnea is characterized by shortness of breath, chest tightness, wheezing, coughing, and fatigue. If left untreated, it can lead to more serious complications such as hypoxia, hypercapnia, and acidosis.

     

    Preventing Dyspnea

    Dyspnea is caused by several different things. One of the main causes is an underlying lung disease. Other common causes include asthma, COPD, and congestive heart failure. In some cases, there is no clear cause.
